CUET PG LLB 2027 (COQP11) – Syllabus, Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme
Want a 3-year LLB from Delhi University? You get in through CUET PG, not a separate law entrance. This guide explains the COQP11 paper, the full syllabus, the marking scheme, the fee and a 5-month plan, in simple words.
Delhi University's Faculty of Law is one of the most respected places in India to study a 3-year LLB, and its fees are far lower than most private law colleges. The entry exam isn't a tough law paper; it tests English, GK, reasoning and computer basics. With the right plan, any graduate can crack it.
1. What Is CUET PG LLB?
There is no exam officially called "CUET LLB". The Delhi University 3-year LLB admission happens through CUET PG, which NTA conducts every year. Inside CUET PG, you have to choose the paper called COQP11 – General. That paper is what everyone calls "CUET PG LLB".

Don't confuse COQP11 (General – used for LLB) with COQP14 (L.L.M.). COQP14 is for the master's in law. Choosing the wrong code in the form can cost you your admission, because NTA says candidates are solely responsible for picking the right paper code.

You have about 5 months until March 2027. That is enough time if you start now. Most toppers of this paper win on GK and English, which need daily practice rather than last-minute cramming.

- 75 questions in 90 minutes = about 72 seconds per question. That's comfortable if you don't get stuck.
- There is no sectional timer. You can move freely between sections during the whole 90 minutes.
- If there's any difference between the English and Hindi versions of a question, the English version is final.

Example: You attempt 62 questions — 50 right, 12 wrong.
If you can eliminate two options, guessing between the remaining two is usually worth it. A blind guess with zero idea is not.
NTA shows your recorded responses and a provisional answer key after the exam. You can challenge an answer by paying ₹200 per question (non-refundable). Keep that in mind before challenging something you're unsure about.

The COQP11 paper has four areas. Here are the topics that are asked, in simple language.
A. Language Comprehension / Verbal Ability
NTA's syllabus note for this paper has said that the language section is attempted in one language only – English or Hindi. Check the latest syllabus PDF to confirm for 2027.

Computer Basics is the easiest scoring section. It's a small, fixed syllabus: shortcut keys, abbreviations and MS Office facts can be finished in 10–12 days and revised in one evening.
7. Myths That Waste Your Time

These are the fees from the CUET PG 2026 bulletin. NTA may revise them in the 2027 notice. Bank charges and GST are extra.
9. Exam Day Rules
- Reach the centre about 90 minutes before the exam starts.
- Carry a printed admit card with the self-declaration filled in, one passport-size photo (same as in the form), a transparent ball pen and an original photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID, passport, driving licence, college ID, etc.).
- You can choose up to 2 exam cities, but only in the state of your present or permanent address.
- If you miss your exam date for any reason, there is no re-test.
- All rough work is done on sheets given at the centre, and these must be returned.
CUET PG follows the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024. Carrying a phone, impersonation or tampering with documents can lead to a ban of up to 3 years and criminal action.
10. After the Result: Admission Process

- NTA only conducts the exam and declares results. Admission, cut-offs and seat allotment are decided by the university.
- If the paper is held in more than one shift, NTA uses normalisation (percentile method) so no shift is unfairly easy or hard.
- There is no re-evaluation after the result.
11. 5-Month Preparation Plan (Oct 2026 – Feb 2027)

After every mock, spend double the time analysing mistakes than you spent attempting. With −1 for each wrong answer, reducing silly mistakes improves your score faster than attempting more questions.

Which paper code should I choose for DU LLB?
COQP11 (General). Always cross-check with DU's latest admission bulletin before submitting your form.
When is the CUET PG 2027 exam?
NTA's calendar lists 1–5, 8, 12–20 and 24–25 March 2027, with 30–31 March as buffer days. Your exact date and shift will be on your admit card.
Is there negative marking?
Yes. +4 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong answer. Unanswered questions get 0.
Can I write the exam in Hindi?
Yes. The paper is bilingual (English and Hindi). If the two versions differ, the English version is treated as final.
Is legal aptitude part of the syllabus?
